Show only day name as labels on time axis

Hi guys!

I wanna change the labels of the x-axis. As you can see in the pictures, now my x-axis label is real date (the first picture), like May 18, May19,... But my task is to change it into day name (the second one), such as Mon, Tue,... Sun. I searched a lot of documents and files but didn't find any one related. Does anyone have any idea of this? Many thanks!!
