Pie charts don't appear to render properly in IE9 - instead of seeing the slices all that is displayed is a blank circle. Oddly enough, opening the IE developer tools and reloading the page seems to fix this. Globally pigeonholing console.log() to be an empty function eliminates the issue, so it may be a problem with how/when something is trying to write to the console that is IE9 specific. This behavior can be replicated by visiting your pie chart demo at https://zoomcharts.com/en/gallery/all:pie-chart-donut-chart-flat-csdd-car-market with IE9.
Thank you for reporting this. The unfortunate problem was that although we did test the charts on IE9, our test runner included the workaround for IE9 console methods so we never got the error.
I just fixed this but since I do not have IE9 VM at hand, could you please see if the nightly build fixes this issue? https://cdn.zoomcharts-cloud.com/1/nightly/zoomcharts.js
That worked. Confirmed working on IE9, IE11, latest Chrome and latest Firefox.
Thank you for confirming! We are working on few other fixes and we will release the hotfix release in the next few days that will include this as well.
1.11.3 does not appear to fix this, although the nightly build you had me test did.
Sorry about that!
We did find one more case that was not handled correctly. We also tested our examples on IE9 and they seem to be working fine. The hotfix will be released on Monday or Tuesday.
Tested with 1.11.4 - issue is not resolved
We will triple check again. But in the meantime - could you send us a page that exhibits the problem?
My apologies. We just discovered an issue with our testing deployment model (the new build was being pushed to the wrong location so we were still testing an older version of zoomcharts.js). 1.11.4 did fix this issue. Unfortunately the inability to left click on scroll bars in IE9 appears to be back with 1.11.4. That was previously fixed with 1.11.3.
The scrollbar problem was previously reproducible even on IE11, I just checked 1.11.4 on IE11 and it seems to be working fine.
We will also check on IE9 later today...
Good point, I didn't think to test IE11. Can confirm that it works fine there, the scrollbars appear to only have an issue with IE9 now.
Found the issue on IE9 and fixed it. It is currently scheduled for 1.12 - please let me know if you would need it sooner than few more weeks.
Due to the holidays a few weeks should be fine. Thanks.
