It seems as it is there when the chart is animating on render, but then it goes away.
You can see an example here.
The quick workaround is to use < instead of the literal < char.
<
<
I will see where the < symbol disappears at since it should be visible in either case.
The issue is now fixed for the next version.
Great thanks for the quick fix. Any idea on an ETA for release? Is this going to be 1.12 or are you doing another 1.11?
Initially we did not plan for another 1.11, however we might do one in the middle of the next week to include both this and few other small fixes.
Just want to verify this did not make it into 1.11.5, correct?
Update: Sorry I see now this discussion was after 1.11.5 was released.
This does not seem to be fixed for me in 1.11.6. Can you verify it should be fixed, and then I can work on getting a Plunker together with the latest version if needed.
This change did not get included in 1.11.6 - it will have to wait until 1.12. I will however let you know as soon as we have a nightly build with it included so you can use that if needed. The alternative is to encode < as <
We couldn't include it since the fix was done atop of some refactoring to enable all labels to be styled with outlines (http://jsfiddle.net/cpykv32b/).
