Hello,
In our application we have a time chart of type line with several series. The series are exclusive, meaning that at a given timestamp only one of them can carry a data value. The data of the other series at that timestamp is left to null
or 0
.
The problem we found is that when there's a transition between series, the lines of the series overlap. For example, imagine series 1 (S1) has green color and series 2 (S2) has blue color:
At t = 1
, dataS1 = 10
/ dataS2 = 0
At t = 2
, dataS1 = 0
/ dataS2 = 10
There will be a green line from t = 1 to t = 2 going down from 10 to 0 and crossing a blue line rising from 0 to 10.
We've also tried with null
instead of 0
but the series line line is connected to the next value available on the series.
Is there a way to avoid these line transitions? For example if the next value is null
or undefined
, just stop drawing the series (leaving the color filling until the last valid value).
Thanks & regards,
Rafa.
