Hi Team,
I have a pie chart with some data. On clicking that data, it will drill down to next level. Till here it is fine and this is our requirement too. But after drill down to second level when we click on the slice, its again performing drilldown by default. How can I restrict that second drilldown in a pie chart? Please find the screenshot of this issue as an attachment.
ThanksKrishna.
Hi!
At the level where you don't want drilldown to happen, don't specify "id" for those slices.
You may also provide this setting in data:
https://zoomcharts.com/developers/en/pie-chart/api-reference/settings/slice/style.html#doc_expandable
{.. style: {expandable: false}}

Hi,
If we implement the same solution, It is blocking the drilldown at 1st level. Our requirement is, drilldown should work at one level not at 2nd level. Attached the screenshot which shows the actual requirement.
Only for the level that should not be expandable, please either remove ID or add style: {expandable: false}
example:

Could you point me to the documentation that says the absence of an ID will cause the PieChart to not drill down? This caused my a lot of pain,possibly because I didn't read the documentation thoroughly.
Sorry to hear. We will improve the documentation. Meanwhile, it's this chapter that could've helped you: https://zoomcharts.com/developers/en/pie-chart/introductory-topics/hierarchy.html

Thanks for the quick reply. That documentation is definitely lacking! I love your product, still
