Note that 1/stable
still points to version 1.9.1
.
We are continuing on improving the reliability and usability of the library. For example, all charts now include replaceSettings()
function that is similar to the existing updateSettings()
but allows you to easily replace or remove existing settings such as value axis or series.
Another small but nice improvement is that leaflet.js
is now loaded asynchronously and is no longer embedded in zoomcharts.js
file. So the file size is now more than 100KB smaller (~30KB when compressed).
There are few more fixes for problems that were reported on this forum: maxUnitWidth
for FacetChart and specifying first day of week for TimeChart.
Last but not least - we have reworked the navigation component of NetChart. Navigation is the part of the chart that is responsible for expanding, hiding, collapsing and focus nodes. Our main goal for this is to make sure that any user who opens the chart for the first time would not be asking any questions like "what just happened?" after few clicks on the chart.
We are confident that these small changes will mostly go unnoticed but it will make the experience much better for the users. And for the developers - we also added a detailed explanation of the focusNodes
algorithm.
